Hello neighbor, my name is Tom, and I'm the founder and namesake of Tom's Fried Pies, which I started in 2011 with a recipe developed by my Mama long ago to feed me, my 12 brothers and sisters, and my coal miner Daddy. There weren't many days that she wasn't up before dawn, fryin' up fruit pies and meat pies made from leftovers for my Daddy's lunch pail to take to work in the coal mines of Kentucky. Before long, my Daddy's fried pies were missing from his lunch pail at the mines. All of the men wanted Ms. Lillie's fried pies, and the only way Daddy would get his lunch was for Mama to send enough for the other miners.
Lovely, vintage, clean.. employees are always nice and welcoming and prompt. Pies are HOT lol but worth the wait. The glass bottle cokes are worth the stop as well! Very large selection of different pies you can get. From meats to fruits.. so far, I've never had one I didn't love and to top it off, you can play games while you wait on the pies to be prepare! A Mississippi must see!!
I identified myself as a first-timer and the precious young lady behind the counter gave us the scoop. Comfortable inside, nice decor and music. Pies were delicious! I had the Tex-Mex (super savory) and apricot pie. We'll be back!
Absolutely delicious� will stop every time I pass through!!! These pies were made by angels, dipped in the pools belonging to magical unicorns, and delivered to me piping hot. I wish I could explain the happiness and delight I experienced whilst eating these magical pockets of dreams.
